abouT THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Our Community

Welcome to The Laurels!  We are a diverse community of approximately 130 homes located just North of McDonough, Georgia on State Highway GA-20.  


We are approximately 35 miles south of Atlanta located in Henry County, Georgia. Our residents enjoy quiet surroundings, children playing, relaxing evening strolls, walks with their dogs or jogs around our 3 connected streets that make up our neighborhood. 


Home construction first began in the 2000's and we currently have 3 vacant lots remaining for new home construction. Our current HOA dues are $350. per year, per lot,  and  is primarily use for landscaping maintenance, irrigation, and street lights.   


Every fall we have an annual Community Fall Festival and our Annual Budget meeting in January.  


In The Laurels community, every time you meet a neighbor.....you have the opportunity to make a new friend.
